Favorite Anime Weapons
Anime is known for its unique character designs and powers, and weapons are no exception for their appearance and use. Here is a list of our favorite anime weapons.
AMON'S ROYAL SWORD
Amon's Royal Sword was Amol Saiqa's second form and was Alibaba’s Djinn Weapon Equip. It got its powers from Alibaba's Djinn, Amon. A unique part of this sword was that if the sword did not hit the opponent, the heat formed around the sword was able to slice and increase the range of the attack.
SAMEHADA
Samehada was one of the seven deadly mist swords, and perhaps the strongest one. The sword was responsive and can drain the chakra of anyone it contacts, while also supporting the wielder in battle. It also had free will and can decide if it did not want to be your sword anymore.
EXCALIBUR: SWORD OF PROMISED VICTORY
Excalibur was a "sword that amplifies", transforming its user’s magical energy into offensive power and releasing It. It accelerated with Saber’s "factor of the dragon" allowing for the use of Divine Spirit-level thaumaturgy.
THE SPIRIT SPEAR CHASTIEFOL
The Spirit Spear Chastiefo was King's Sacred Treasure, and a holy weapon constructed from the Sacred Tree originated in the Fairy Realm. It had ten different forms and can be changed from one to another at King's will.
BOW AND ARROW
The Bow and Arrow was a powerful item introduced early in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4. It became a major plot-driving force as it is the foundation of many new Stand users; and it was revealed that its influence ranged back to Stardust Crusaders.
ROSE WHIP
Rose Whip was Kurama's signature technique where he used his demon energy to grow a rose from its seed state to its flowering state, and then into a long thorny whip. This weapon seamlessly fit Kurama’s well-mannered nature.
RYUJIN JAKKA
Captain-Commander Yamamoto’s Zanpakuto was surrounded with flames that can incinerate anything. Its Bankai can reach temperatures of 15,000,000 degrees. The sword can also summon an army of corpses that was made of the Zanpakuto's former victims.
DOMINATOR
While also being very strong in its shot, when aiming a Dominator at someone, the weapon read & sent psychological data of the target. The weapon determined the likelihood of that person committing a crime, which then gave the user a judgement to whether the target is going to get a punishment by law or not.
SUPER TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGGANN
Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann was a mecha-like mass of energy, bigger than the universe itself. It is a weapon that can manipulate reality, time, space, and existence. It is the strongest Mecha in all anime.
