One of the prominent streaming services, Netflix had acquired dozens of amazing anime providing many original must see Netflix exclusives.

DEVILMAN CRYBABY

Devilman Crybaby re-adapted the 1970 setting of the manga series Crybaby, and updated it into a 21st-century. This anime displayed a cynical view of the world ruled by madness followed by the violence of the humans. It did not hold back from showing anything to its viewers.

VIOLET EVERGARDEN

Violet Evergarden was an excellent anime. The quality of the art, colors and realism is rather hard to find in other anime productions. The soundtrack was perfect to match with the feelings of the audience. This series can evoke a lot of emotions, from tears to anger, to joy, and to laughter.

GREAT PRETENDER

Great Pretender is a crime-comedy anime series produced by Studio Wit. The graphic design and music were great, and this anime is most comparable to other crime detective anime like Detective Conan (Case Closed) and Lupin III.

KAKEGURUI

Kakegurui was all about gambling. Although it did not have outstanding character depth or complexity, the psychotic nature and craziness of the characters are what made the show entertaining. To survive, you must outmanoeuvre your opponents and become part of the hierarchy.

BNA: BRAND NEW ANIMAL

This anime was a fun and enjoyable ride. The art style was so colorful and bright, very pleasing to see. The characters followed the cliché of having a charismatic and upbeat character alongside a serious character. This contrast was especially funny in BNA.

CASTLEVANIA

Castlevania was based off a gothic horror action-adventure video game, inspiring the anime. The story was comprised of vampires and occults. Castlevania had a very dark tone and did not shy away from gore. This anime series was a vampire hunt as the main trio attempted to restore balance. The main protagonist’s personality and impression felt new and refreshing.

BEASTARS

This story took place in a world of modern, civilized, anthropomorphic animals with a cultural division between carnivores and herbivores. There was always a level of tension between them and the society to develop. The psychological side was accurate and clever, with real life political parallels displayed into the world, but also keeping the Beastars world as a unique own version of society itself.
